No. Once your Hotspot is completely deployed and fully synced with the Helium blockchain, you as the owner are not required to do anything else in order to earn $HNT. Your Hotspot will perform all of the above activities on its own while it runs.

Please place your hotspot by the window, if you have more than one hotspot, make sure you place them at least 300m away each other, do not place two hotspots in the same house, as it will only reduce your potential earnings.

The higher up you place your hotspot, the better! Make sure there are no obstacles close by.
